Leading the transformation of arid and semi-arid lands through quality pasture seed production for sustainable livestock farming
Kerio Valley Development Authority (KVDA) is one of the six Regional Development Authorities in Kenya, established by an Act of Parliament CAP 441. We serve the Kerio River basin, covering counties of West Pokot, Turkana, Baringo, Elgeyo Marakwet, and parts of Samburu and Nakuru.
With an estimated population of about 3 million people in our coverage area, KVDA is mandated to plan, initiate, coordinate and monitor implementation of programmes and projects that transcend administrative boundaries.
